Schoolkeeper

Terms of service

Effective 2026-10-18

These terms are the agreement between you and Loomfield, the maker of Schoolkeeper. By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to them.

What Schoolkeeper is

Schoolkeeper is a homeschool record-keeper. You log school days, keep totals and work samples, see whether your year is on track, and export your record in the shape your state asks for. It runs on iOS, Android and the web.

Accounts

An account belongs to one family. The owner can add one second parent on the Plus plan. You must be an adult, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Schoolkeeper is not for children and has no child accounts.

Plans and billing

Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects your next renewal.

Your record, and what you file

The record is yours. You can export it at any time on Plus, and you can delete your account at any time. You are responsible for what you file with your state and for meeting its deadlines.

Schoolkeeper is a record-keeper, not legal advice. State rules are shown with their citation and the date we checked them, and they can change. Where we say a rule is not checked yet, please read your state's own source.

Acceptable use

Please use Schoolkeeper for your own family's homeschool record. Do not break the law with it, upload content you have no right to share, try to get into other people's accounts or our systems, overload the service, or resell access to it. Do not upload photos of anyone that you do not have the right to upload.

Ending your account

You can stop using Schoolkeeper and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we can. Deleted data is removed as described in the privacy policy.

Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep Schoolkeeper accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, with no promise that it will never have errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, Loomfield is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a missed filing or a decision by a state or school. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Schoolkeeper after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States.
